would the Ogilvie family of Montreal, Quebec, Canada ( arrived 1800) be related to the Ogilvie families of Australia ?
Jill, absolutely – we’ve looked into this ourselves. A lot of the Canadian Ogilvys created substantial wealth through wheat farming I believe.
